My camera battery gave out. It's five years old so doesn't hold a charge for two weeks.
So I only took a couple of photo's of people's work.
Hopefully they will send me some files to upload.
Went to the camera store and was told to either buy new batteries for $40 (ouch)
or only charge it up the day before so the charge won't seep out.
So here it is in it's very short version.
Mine are here because I took them when I got home.

Daniel uses a computer which gives amazing results.
I can't see any difference between this and paper.
The effects are numerous and subtle.

The rest are mine

TRACY RETURNS IN ORANGE ABSTRACT
Sixty Seconds 11/10/11

String theory

Naked bird
stretches her wings
to fly beyond what?
And when?

TRACY CURTIS – FIVE MINUTES –
SEMI ABSTRACT

Four Versions of Her in Purple Neon Aurora

My unintentional sylph,
unbidden,
naked faerie emerges,
correcting my
ongoing errors
with her preternatural
beauty.

TRACY CURTIS – TEN MINUTES

(Untitled)

When all else fails,
make a woman a tree,
That’s what the ancient Greeks did
in their ridiculous myths,
and it always worked.
When she escapes from your grasp,
a fictional supposed goddess
will always become
arboreal.

TRACY TEN MINUTES – II

Lensing Effect

Elongation.
Einstein told me about this.
Throw her into
some sort of black hole
or timespace,
I mean spacetime
gravity well,
or whatever
and she stretches out
impossibly long
past eternity
until she still is not
finished
at the time
time itself
comes t an end,
whatever that means,
but still,
she is lovely
as she forever’
extends.

This letter came to me yesterday and I thought it so wonderful that I posted it here for all to see. If you have any comments please write them as I am sure the thoughts in this post will be well received.

Dear Elizabeth:

Attached as an MS Word file, please find my circle of works related to last night's marvelous sitting with Kammeron, for your beautiful website.

Respectfully, I should like to say a few things.

First, with all humility and modesty, I should like to formally name our small fellowship of artistic creative people the "Stone Griffon Group" if no one has any serious objection. I can think of no better name, and I should like to give Dana's incredible gallery as much publicity and prestige as it can possibly receive, and then more, as Dana most certainly deserves. So do you. This is long overdue.

Second, I hope that we can think of the Stone Griffin Group not as several individual artists, but as one single organic whole functioning together as a unity. Therefore, I dedicate, as you will see in the body of my small opus, this cycle of pieces to EVERYBODY in the Group and who was there, most certainly including yourself, Dana and beautiful Kammeron, all of whom need to catch a break, me too. We are stronger together as appearing as one figurative movement, if eclectic and hard at times to describe, with respect.

Third, my Poetic Art now and forever pertains to ALL OF US, not just my own productions, such as anyone may view and feel about them. Humbly, I wish to add Poetic Art to our group as a new, higher dimension, then NOBODY ELSE in any other group possesses. Right now, it is our monopoly and I hope it so remains. By so doing, we have a leg up on everybody else, and I feel salability will vastly improve, as we alone cross connect and synthesize visual aesthetics with elegant fluid language.

By taking these steps, it is my modest view that we, ALL OF US, can eventually be world class, rivals to anything in New York, Venice and Paris and beyond, and much in demand. Let's aim large!

Here's hoping all this meets with everyone's approval.

Please be so kind as to forward this material to Dana, Kammeron and anyone you might deem appropriate. Please feel free to use this material in any way you might find of benefit or useful.

Thank you very much for everything.

Warmest Regards,

Steve Wetlesen,
Poetic Artist (not the same as poetry)

PS Here's hoping this material will be of some small help to Kammeron in her career as well.

We had a no show model last week!
First time thats happened in quite a while.
This week though we had a FABULOUS model.
Ariel Churchill
who I think must have an extra vertebrae.
Wonderful poses! Thank you Ariel.

Also feel like saying how wonderful it is to observe people's spirits come through.
We are all so different and it comes out in our art.
Our spirits are all so special;
I gaze with pleasure at each one - each one is an invitation to be with a spirit.
